Rewards Central & My Opinions Review - A Scam?

By

I am getting a lot of comments related to a site called Central Rewards. Please note that this is NOT related to Rewards Central. Rewards Central is FREE and does not request payments of any kind to hold membership.

Any comments relating to Central Rewards WILL be deleted, since people don't seem to be checking their facts.

About

Rewards central is a great site to make some extra cash if you live in Australia or the UK. You can choose from dozens of options to make money and even earn interest on that money. My opinions is basically an affiliate site for the surveys and you can swap points between the two.

Each point you earn is worth 1 cent and you can cash out (by cheque or direct to your bank account) in either $30 or $100 lots.

There is a simple method they use to reward long standing members - it's called EXP. You earn it by doing things like logging in, shopping and claiming rewards. The more EXP you earn, the more things you are entitled to at Rewards Central.

Why rewards central is a great way to make money:

  • Faster than most for making money and payouts
  • The most money making options in one site
  • No (or very few) sign ups required for other sites

I would recommend them to anyone - out of many sites I've tried, these are the only ones I've found that are scam and trick free. You can sign up here.

Surveys

You can receive survey requests through both Rewards Central and My Opinions - and these can pay anywhere from $1 up to $10 depending on the length of time you put into them. If you are screened out you usually get about 20 cents.

Email Clicks

Rewards Central sends emails to you fairly regularly - all you have to do is click the link at the bottom for either 5 cents or entries in their competitions. You don't need to look at the page for any length of time or sign up for anything - just click!

Daily Click & Poll

Each day you can login to Rewards Centralfor a quick poll and a web click - stay on the page for ten seconds and get points for it!

Guessing Game

Each day you can select 5 numbers (or 7 when you've been there longer) out of 1-10,000. You can win $20 or more!

Shopping

Do you enjoy shopping online? Whynot get some money back from it? All you have to do is follow the affiliate link at Rewards Central then buy an item - you can put in an autoclaim to get your points. It can range from 1-10 points for every dollar spent.

The best part? They have some great affiliates - including Ebay!

Free SMS

Many sites offer you SMS if you click or signup for other sites. Rewards Central gives you 5 SMS per day - FREE with your account. All you need to do is verify your mobile number.

Competition

Rewards Central has a 3 monthly $10,000 competition and My Opinions has a three monthly $5,000 competition. To enter all you need to do is participate in the site - you can get entries from emails, buying through affiliates, surveys and more...

Referrals

Each time you refer a friend who earns 400 points - you get 200 points!

EBank

The best part? High interest rate bank accounts! You can put your rewards points back into a term deposit style bank that gives interest ranging from 7.15% pa up to 15.05%, depending on the amount and time you put the points in for. That's better than a lot of banks!

Christmas Presents

Once you've earned enough EXP through the site & earn 2000 points in one year (easy), you automatically qualify for a Christmas present at the end of the year.

What it costs you

Nothing! Just your time. You can buy gold membership for $66 for three years - however you can use the points you earn on the site to purchase it! I'd definately rate rewards central as the best site to make money online!

What else Rewards Central offers

Rewards central offers a range of things - great forums, classified ads, horoscopes, movie frenzies, games, auctions, lowest bid auctions, donation to charity and more!

Poll

Have you had bad luck with money making online?

  • Yes - I've been burnt
  • Yes - that's why I'm trying hubpages!
  • No - I'm just starting
  • No - I don't make bad choices!

I finally earned enough points to redeem cash and they have failed to send the form to my postal address, twice, no communication. REWARDS CENTRAL IS A SCAM

Been a member of them for years even in the old Emailcash times.

Wondering about the $10,000 cash competition though. I know it's broken up into amounts of $500 cheques. Advertised the winners onsite and in the Australian.

I know when you get cash out it takes awhile to come into your account just wondered if it was the same for the cheques for the winners of the comp?

Just wondered if anyone has had any problems with getting the cash for the $10,000 prize competition. I know it's seperated into lots of $500 cheques and the winners names are published onsite and also in the Australian.

So far I've yet to redeem any reward been a member 6 months get offered surveys weekly sometimes several a week my points are growing nicely..

Numtix 3 months ago

Its a shame that the "3 monthly" competition has not been run consistantly for at least the last 2 years and has now been changed to 6 monthly with no increase in prizes and no change in their advertising as to how much money they give away.

I'm also older and I've found all the survey sites are a waste of time, because I never get accepted for any of the surveys - they simply don't want anyone over 50. Which is surprising, considering what a big market baby boomers represent.

I have found the rewards central site to be very good. The only thing is that being an older Australian I don't get the survey offers I had hoped for. This actually goes for all the surey sites. I have now unsubscribed from nearly all of them

Cathy, can you tell me what exactly happened? I've never had a phone call from rewardscentral and you're not very specific about what part you would consider a fraud.

Cathy 17 months ago

BEWARE BEWARE THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER !!! Who calls with offers and gets into your account and everything about their offer is a fraud and lies.
